Dealer's description

1995 AM GENERAL HUMMER H1 BY MIL-SPEC LAUNCH ESDITION #002textured matte black paint 1995 Hummer H1 Wagon 4WD 4-Speed Automatic 6.5L V8 16V Diesel 6.5L V8 16V Diesel. This 1995 AM General Hummer H1 spent the majority of its life in Maryland prior to being refurbished and modified in 2018 by Mil-Spec Automotive, of Auburn Hills, Michigan. The build involved refinishing the aluminum bodywork in textured matte black paint, reupholstering the gray and black leather interior, and installing the 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8, which is mated to an Allison six-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes heavy-duty half-shaft portal axles, an ARB locking rear differential, a 3 lift kit, 20 wheels, a 25-gallon auxiliary fuel tank, a brush guard, an intake snorkel, a roof-mounted light bar, a slant-back rear hardtop, Kevlar-coated fender flares, blind spot monitoring, air conditioning, and a JL Audio stereo system. This H1 was purchased by the selling dealer in 2023 and is now offered with a Mil-Spec Automotive sales invoice and literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title. The truck was refitted with aluminum body panels during the build before it was refinished in Nighthawk textured matte black paint. Equipment includes a brush guard, LED headlights, a composite tilt-forward hood, an aluminum intake snorkel, a 60 roof-mounted lightbar, blind spot monitoring, power-adjustable mirrors and running boards, Kevlar-coated fender flares, a slant-back rear hardtop, and a tubular rear step bumper.Black 20 multi-piece aluminum wheels measure 9 wide and are mounted with 38 13.50 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The truck features a fully independent coil suspension with heavy-duty half-shaft portal axles, a 3 suspension lift with eight-way adjustable shocks at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel inboard discs with 12.25 cross-drilled and slotted rotors. The cabin features front and rear bucket seats trimmed in black marine-grade leather with gray quilted and perforated inserts. Matching upholstery extends to the door panels, and black leather covers the dashboard and center console. Equipment includes power windows and locks, front and rear air conditioning, and a JL Audio stereo system. The leather-wrapped billet aluminum steering wheel was installed in 2021, and it fronts a 160-mph GPS speedometer with an inset tachometer as well as a combination gauge and a trio of additional auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows less than 3k miles, which is said to reflect the distance traveled since the build. Total chassis mileage is unknown. The 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 was installed by Mil-Spec Automotive in 2018 and was reportedly serviced by the company in 2021.An Allison 1000 Series six-speed automatic transmission features a Mil-Spec Automotive cooling system and sends power to the rear or all four wheels via a dual-range transfer case. The truck is equipped with a hypoid center differential, an AMC Model 20-style Zexel Torsen torque-biasing front unit, and a Model 20-style rear differential with an ARB air locker. A 25-gallon auxiliary fuel tank was installed during the build. The Mil-Spec Automotive sales order lists colors and optional equipment as well as a total price of $158,189.The Carfax report shows history in Maryland and Michigan from March 1995 to August 2022, and it displays a July 2020 mileage inconsistency. No accidents or other damage is listed.
