Dealer's description
Key reasons to buy Strong value at lower price point The base trims of the 2026 Kona line start at a relatively modest price (the SE starts at around ~$25,350 for FWD) Hyundai USA +1 While I couldnt find a list price specified explicitly for SEL FWD (because Hyundais naming changed a bit for 2026), the idea is you're getting more features for less money than the turbo/high-trim versions. If you don't need the highest performance or AWD, going with a FWD value version makes sense. Good fuel economy for everyday driving With the base 2.0L engine + FWD, you're looking at around 29 mpg city / 34 mpg highway / 31 mpg combined according to Hyundais spec sheet. That makes it an efficient choice for commuting, errands, and typical use, especially if most of your driving is in normal conditions. Manageable size + utility The Kona is a small-SUV / subcompact crossover: length ~171.3 inches, width ~71.9 inches. 1 Good for city driving, parking, maneuverability. Decent cargo space for the class (while not huge), and 5-passenger seating makes it versatile for many households. Modern features even in lower trims Even the lower trims include a 12.3-inch touchscreen display (on the SE) and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Standard safety features: forward collision avoidance with pedestrian/cyclist detection, rear-cross traffic alert, etc., making it a safe choice. Strong warranty: 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty (as Hyundai advertises) for U.S. models. Lower cost of ownership & less complexity Choosing FWD rather than AWD or turbocharged versions means fewer moving parts, likely lower maintenance/repair risk. For many buyers who don't need full off-road or extreme weather traction, FWD is perfectly adequate (especially if AWD cost premium doesn't make sense in your usage).. 28/35 City/Highway MPG. 28/35 City/Highway MPG 2026 Hyundai Kona SEL FREE CAR WASHES FOR LIFE. Proudly serving the communities of Greenfield, Milwaukee, West Allis, Menomonee Falls, Kenosha, Racine, Waukesha, Glendale, St. Francis, Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, and Greendale since 1989!! Price includes: $750 - Sales Event Cash. Exp. 04/30/2026
