Notable modifications include a 3.0-liter S55 turbocharged 6-cylinder engine from a BMW M4, a VR Speed Factory intake & chargepipe, an M Performance exhaust system, M Performance suspension, 19-inch BMW 763M replica wheels, M Performance carbon fiber exterior trim, F80 M3-sourced front seats in Silverstone,& an M Performance steering wheel. . With its turbocharged inline-six engine, rear-wheel drive, and compact dimensions, the M2 is often described as a spiritual successor to the early M3 models, offering a raw and exhilarating driving experience. Power comes from a 3.0-liter S55 twin-turbocharged inline-6, rated at 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this M2, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
