Dealer's description

The DeTomaso Pantera, one of those cars that not everybody is aware of and often ask what is that? It is a mid engine Italian designed Sports car with a Ford powerplant! This car was built by Steve Wilkinson of Panteras by Wilkinson for himself but never quite got to completing it until the previous owner approached him to purchase and finish it. Starting with a nice and solid body and chassis, Group 5 flares were added to be able to fit those monstrous 17 inch deep dish custom Pantera wheels with new 335/35 and 275/40 Michelin Pilot Sport tires for making it stick in the corners. The exterior is finished in Nara Bronze Metallic with front and rear Carbon Fiber bumperettes along with Carbon Fiber mirrors and blacked out trim. The engine is a 351 Cleveland bored and stroked to a 408 with Roller Rockers, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley dual feed 4 barrel carburetor, Black coated DeTomaso valve covers, high flow water pump, stainless steel headers with dual Performance mufflers and 4 stainless tips, high torque starter, High Performance Fluidyne 5 row aluminum radiator with electric fans, A/C, upgraded 4 wheel power disc brakes and the best upgrade ever, electric power steering! The fresh rebuilt ZF transaxle shifts effortlessly with a McLeod Heavy Duty Hydraulic Clutch with pressure plate and the upgraded adjustable Coilover suspension makes the car handle and sit at the perfect stance. The interior is finished with a Caron Fiber dash, matching door panels and center console along with some Black Procar headrest seats. The gated floor shifter and factory gauges look amazing along with the cockpit style seating makes you feel like your in a true race inspired car.
