Dealer's description

Original Parts Group promotion car! Right out of OPG's private collection. This was used by OPG to represent their new line of Corvair parts. It was debuted at 2018 SEMA in OPG's booth. It has been in numerous videos, pictures etc. Complete restoration down to a bare tub by Original Parts Group. In addition to several OPG parts the car came with a pallet of New Old Stock part still in GM packaging EXTERIOR: Refinished right back to factory condition. No, it's better! The body was professionally restored and is straight with excellent fit. Repainted Goldwood Yellow with a smooth and glossy finish. All the trim, emblems, bumpers, handles were replaced. I especially liked the emblem on the trunk lid! New windshield and weatherstrips. The black power top was completely restored. It is correctly restored right down to the reproduction tires and deluxe hubcaps. INTERIOR: Completely restored to factory condition. OPG upholstery, door panels, dash pad, handles, carpet, armrests, visors etc. It is decked out with a 2 spoke deluxe wheel and seatbelts, yes seatbelts were still optional in '64. It also has a great looking dash that has the optional gauges including a tachometer. That's a nice feature to go along with the factory 4-speed on the floor. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The Corvair is very unique throughout including being a rear engine car. It has the optional 6 cylinder with a turbo charger making 150hp! The motor and all of its components were rebuilt or replaced. The turbo cars are dressed up with a chrome air cleaner too. It is a detailed engine bay. They even spent the money on a 5th reproduction spare along with a restored rim, and original locking mechanism. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: So, the trunk is in the front and under the lid and the jamb are painted slick like the car. Inside is clean metal with a neat spatter finish. It is complete with mat, washers, jack and master cylinder. The reproduction battery is included but it wasn't very reliable, we installed a new battery. UNDERSIDE: Completely restored, it was taken down bare. Now it has clean metal painted black. It has independent suspension front and rear! The steering and suspension were completely rebuilt. The entire brake system was rebuilt. The fuel system and the exhaust were replaced. Looking up at the motor and trans, they are clean. SERVICE: Our shop did a thorough inspection to make it road ready. We replaced the head gaskets, gave it an oil change, replaced courtesy bulbs, fixed temp gauge and radio, tightened the steering components, set the timing, and replaced the fuel pump. It's ready to drive! CONCLUSION: This is an opportunity to buy a Corvair that would cost double then what we are asking to restore! OPG spared no expense, now the car has a great story to tell. Try a Corvair, it's a cool and unique car! Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Turbo charged Rallye Gauges Bucket seats Padded dash Seat belts Deluxe wheel Power top
