The 2009 Smart Fortwo Pure Coupe 2-door with the 1.0-liter inline-3 engine is a tiny urban commuter built for efficiency and tight spaces. It produces 70 horsepower and 68 lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Seating is only for two, and the car is extremely compact about 106 inches long, 61-inch wide, 60.7-inch tall, with a curb weight around 1,808 lbs. Fuel economy is strong: approximately 33 mpg city / 41 mpg highway.
