It's designed to be a practical, affordable, compact SUV with enough features for everyday use. Engine / PerformanceStandard engine: 2.0-liter MIVEC inline-4, ~148 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm, ~145 lb-ft torque @ 4,200 rpm. Transmission options: CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is standard for the ES if not using the manual. There is also a 5-speed manual for some ES models. Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive is standard. All-wheel control (AWC) is available as an option on some ES models. Fuel EconomyWith 2.0L FWD & CVT: ~ 24 mpg city / 30 mpg highway / about 27 mpg combined. With AWC: a little lower (e.g. 23/29 etc) due to added drivetrain losses. Size & CapacityWheelbase: ~ 105.1 in Length: ~ 171.9 in Height: ~ 64.8 in Ground clearance: about 8.5 inSeating: 5 passengers standard, modest cargo space behind rear seats, fold-down rear seats for more storage.
