1940 Buick Special Model 46 Coupe. This 1940 Model 46 is powered by an in-line 8 cylinder Dynaflash engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Options on this 1940 Buick Special Model 46 Business Coupe for sale include: AM Radio (not working), Cloth Interior and Wide White Wall Tires wrapped around Steel Wheels with Hub Caps. A carburetor overhaul has just been completed. This is a very fine example of a hard to find 1940 Model 46 Business Coupe. This classic is very original and offers a step starter and 'three-on-the-tree' 3-speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives great. The engine is very quiet and smooth. Custom fabricated bolt on mounts and air shocks were added for a more comfortable ride. If you are looking for a rare Buick that is period correct then your search is over! All fluids (engine, transmission, differential, brakes, etc.) have just been inspected, serviced with new gaskets and fluids. New brakes, tires, fuel pump, battery, custom mounts and air shocks on rear, Rebuilt carburetor. Exterior paint is a 20 footer but buffs out fair for a daily driver.
