Dealer's description
Roadster Shop Built '53 F100 Supercharged 509ci V8 TKO600 5-Speed Manual // Originally intended to be an updated and fun driver, this 1953 Ford F100 evolved into a full-scale, no-compromise custom after landing in the hands of the Roadster Shop. The result is a fully hand-formed, award-winning showpiece that's been featured on the cover of Classic Trucks magazine and used in Goodguys promotional materials after earning Pro's Pick awards in 2007 and 2008. Built from the ground up, the truck features extensive body modifications including a chopped roof, pie-cut hood, hand-fabricated floating grille, custom-frenched headlights, reshaped fenders with front openings extended, raised running boards, a custom rollpan, and an aluminum-framed bed floor with carbon fiber inserts. Finished in a two-tone Black and Blue metallic scheme with silver leaf and yellow pinstriping, the bodywork is as detailed under the hood as it is outside. Power comes from a Bill Mitchell 509ci big block topped with a polished 4-71 supercharger, backed by a TKO600 5-speed and Ford 9-inch rear. It rides on a stretched Roadster Shop Stage III chassis with Heidt's IFS, triangulated 4-link, QA1 coilovers, Wilwood discs, and Billet Specialties wheels. Inside, custom charcoal leather by Paul Atkins pairs with a hand-fabricated dash, waterfall center console, and yellow pinstriping throughout. Every inch of this F100 was thoughtfully crafted to show-level standards. It's a complete, turn-key build that showcases the upper limits of custom fabrication and design.
