In 1957, the Thunderbird received a notable restyle: the rear deck was lengthened, tailfins were sharpened and slanted outward, and the spare tire was relocated back into the trunk, eliminating the Continental kit. The front and rear bumpers were redesigned, with the rear incorporating prominent exhaust vents at each corner and the front showcasing a wider grille. Inside, the Thunderbird boasts a redesigned instrument cluster with grouped round gauges behind a 3-spoke steering wheel, new upholstery patterns, and door trim.
