It is a rare, one-owner muscle car that is one of the last made and one of only 716 Superbirds equipped with the iconic 440 Six Pack V8 motor. It comes with Plymouth's original Torqueflite automatic transmission featuring a column shift and bucket seats. The drivetrain remains all original, and this example retains its original factory steel noseconenot a reproductionwhich is a key distinguishing feature. It also has the original 26" radiator, original fender and body tags, and the original black vinyl roof. The car is finished in the vibrant and highly collectible Vitamin C orange color, with largely original paint covering about two-thirds of the body.This Superbird comes from long-term storage and has been carefully refreshed and recommissioned in our shop, including a fresh engine rebuild to ensure mechanical excellence and reliability while maintaining originality.The Plymouth Superbird is an icon of muscle car and NASCAR history.
