Fusion Motor Company is proud to present this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Restomod, An authentic X22-code Super Sport that was factory-born as an SS 396 with the desirable RS package. Originally delivered in Butternut Yellow, the car has been refinished in its current LeMans Blue over a black interior. Power is provided by a crate LS-series V8 equipped with electronic fuel injection, custom intake tubing, and Hooker long-tube headers. The engine is dressed with carbon-fiber-look covers and utilizes a serpentine belt drive system along with an aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle. The chassis has been upgraded with RideTech springs and shocks front and rear, including mono-leaf composite rear springs and RideTech/Fox rear shocks. Additional handling improvements include custom subframe connectors and a front anti-sway bar. Braking is handled by four-wheel power disc brakes with Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. Exterior details include a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, blacked-out trim, upgraded headlights and taillights, and aluminum side mirrors. The car rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Nitto 555 Z-rated tires. The cabin features original-style bucket seats modified with larger bolsters, a factory console with an updated gauge package, air conditioning, and a full stereo system with subwoofer. The trunk compartment has been fully finished.
