I love my new 2014 Kia Forte5 EX in Metallic Bronze. A stylish car both inside and out; I really like the two tone interior; this is the first time I preferred cloth seats over leather and the dashboard is very sleek and modern looking. This car is spacious throughout, a surprisingly large trunk area and there is an amazing amount of leg room even sitting in the back seat behind someone 6ft 2in; it has the most comfortable memory foam seats. The engine has plenty of pick-up-and-go, and after driving a sports car for years this is saying a lot. I love the ECO feature with just the flick of a button, but also from the steering wheel you can choose normal, smooth, comfort or sport drive; this make driving the car fun. Everything you need is within easy reach including being able to control the radio volume, menu features, cruise, phone etc right from from the steering wheel. But wait, it gets better, you can make vocal commands to change the radio station or call a friend. After driving a two seat convertible for 11 years I am pleasantly surprised that I can get plenty of on open feel by just putting the windows down and I opted to not get the sunroof. Visibility is really good but I do like having the backup camera. I am so glad I opted to get this car; great features, great price, great warranty. I highly recommend Kia and the Forte 5!

I enjoy the Forte5. Since Im 62, two people have asked whether I fit in the car when they see the photo. I have 4-5 of room above my head and the driver seat goes back further than I can use. So comfortable for tall drivers. My family has a 2018 Kia Forte sedan which is very similar to my Forte5. The hatchback has 164hp while the sedan has 147hp. My Forte5 gets slightly less gas mileage than the sedan. I typically get 34-38mpg mixed driving. Exactly what I needed and would definitely buy it again. Unfortunately the model was discontinued in 2018 so I bought the newest one I could find.

I love this car! Very similar to a Mazda 3, but better for folks who need a bit more of a sturdy car as opposed to a zippy one!

For used buyers, that means you can still find value, but the strongest bargains will depend on which year you target.

If you're buying used today, the 2016 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for 2025 inventory to mature.
