Why it stands out
The 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 is a standout option in the competitive full-size pickup segment, known for its luxury and advanced technology features. Owners appreciate the truck's impressive engine performance, particularly with the available Duramax turbodiesel engine, which offers a strong balance of power and fuel efficiency. While some users have noted areas for improvement, such as the interior materials feeling cheap and the outdated technology, many believe the Sierra provides fantastic value for its price point. For those seeking a blend of style, comfort, and capability, the Sierra excels, particularly in higher trims like the Denali and AT4, which elevate its appeal with upscale features. When the sales rep said “It has everything but the kitchen sink” I’m pretty sure it has those in it too! This is the most rugged yet luxurious truck I’ve ever ridden in much less owned. I can’t say enough about the features that makes everything from lining up with a trailer hitch to getting warnings via through the seat vibration when getting too close to something when backing up. Heck it even has a forward facing camera that helps up front. Two thumbs all the way around!
