Is the 2019 Audi S4 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2019 Audi S4 stands out as a compact luxury sport sedan that blends strong performance with everyday usability, and it also brings a well-equipped cabin and useful technology. It is appealing if you want a performance car that does not feel stripped down, especially since it includes standard all-wheel drive and a strong feature set. With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Audi S4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

As a used buy, the 2019 Audi S4 has a lot going for it, but Audi’s reliability reputation is only average and the brand typically requires more maintenance than rival makes. That means your ownership experience can be very good if the car has been cared for properly, but a neglected example could bring higher long-term costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi S4?

At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of inconsistent wear, then make sure the cabin electronics and driver-assist features work as expected. Because this model can carry higher ownership costs, condition matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi S4?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 152 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,291, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi S4's resale value?

The current average of $28,645 sits slightly below last year's $29,667.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. The current market also shows enough demand to support a reasonable exit later on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi S4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want the best mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and high owner satisfaction. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years for a lower entry cost, but the 2019 remains the safer all-around pick when you want a well-equipped performance sedan with a solid used-market value proposition.
