Averaging 34.2 mpg. Easy bluetooth connection to my phone. Great looking car and fun to drive. Remote start is a great feature. Coupe has plenty of legroom (Im 6-1). The only negative thing I can say is the car has some road noise. If I were in charge of this design team, I would give it a little more power without turbo and improve the stereo. Honda, bring back the coupe!

Comes nicely loaded, handles like a dream, with lots of power. Only thing I can say that I dislike is the chrome around the window, it doesnt fit in with the rest of the car. Only minor as far as Im concerned and its a preference thing for people.

Is the 2018 Honda Civic Coupe reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The review summary also emphasizes that owners appreciate how dependable and trouble-free the car feels over time, with many saying they can count on it for everyday use. That kind of feedback matters when you’re shopping used, because it suggests the car has earned trust beyond just first impressions. For you, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure a specific used example has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear from prior use.
What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Honda Civic Coupe?
At 51.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of body repair, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any issues that could affect ride quality or safety. Because the model is compact, you should also pay close attention to interior condition and comfort if you plan to carry taller passengers regularly.

What is the 2018 Honda Civic Coupe's resale value?
The current average of $17,152 sits slightly below last year's $17,538.
That tells you the market has softened a bit, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the model’s strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time for the next buyer to shop. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintenance records organized, you’ll be in a better position to protect value later.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2018 Honda Civic Coupe or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2018 if:
- 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 51.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 2.20% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory, the 2018 is the primary year to target. If your main goal is to minimize upfront cost, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
